Around 100 protesters, including two samba bands and several tigers, took part in a roaming Street Party which meandered through London's streets, finally ending in Travalger Square just after 14:30. The anti-Bush protesters, including many student environmental campaigners from People and Planet and the Young Greens, aimed to show their opposition to Bush's record on Climate Change and to show their opposition to War. Surrounded by almost a dozen police vans and 50 police they have finally been let out of a corden. They are now in Travalger Square where they meet with many other protesters. Many appear to be planning to go to the 'Resist Bush' Tea Party outside Buckingham Palace while others will be picketing Exxon-Mobil's HQ on Aldwch at 16:30.

Protester Joel Kenrick, an International Relations student at the London School of Economics, said:

"The day has so far been a great success, the atmosphere has generally been very up-beat and positive. I think we've got to be creative in our opposition to Bush and thats certainly happened today. Its all building into an absolutely huge day tomorrow."
