Majlis Speaker Gholamali Haddad Adel said on Thursday that US propaganda machine is appealing to Iranians not to go to polls.

He said in his address to National Conference on "Heroes of 15th Khordad 1342 (1963)", when anti-Shah demonstrations ended up in blood bath, said that Iranians have decided to hold presidential election on June 17, but, the US believes that it should restore democracy in other states through military invasion and the US media networks are urging Iranians to boycott democratic election.

Haddad Adel said that Iranian nation has proved its allegiance to the Islamic Republic in the past 26 years and they will never heed the US propaganda campaign.

Iranian nation established the Islamic Republic themselves and they have displayed national resolve to develop democracy. They have displayed their objection to US-backed puppet regime as well, Haddad Adel said.

In addition to bombing cities into oblivion and imposing genocidal sanctions and littering depleted uranium over countries places like Kosovo and Iraq, the US also overthrew democracies in many countries and replaced them with dictatorships. They've used economic hit men to put countries into slave like debt to the USA. They have given financial contributions to politicians that support the agenda of US corporations.
Now, after staging an election theatrical in Iraq, the US is meddling in Iran's affairs by urging Iranians not to vote. Meanwhile, the US boasts about supporting democracy.
