Freedom for Ahmed Saadat, the General Secretary of PFLP

The Zionist Israeli State, which become reckless in its attacks and massacres against the oppressed Palestinian people by the backing of the imperialist USA, has carried out another of its ugly attacks against the General Secretary of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP), Ahmed Saadat, who has been elected as MP in the recent elections in Palestine and dedicated his life to the liberation struggle of the Palestinian people. By hundreds of military troops, the occupant Israeli army raided the prison in Jericho, where Ahmed Saadat was kept under
captivity and which is controlled by the Palestinian Authority, with helicopters, tanks, bulldozers and automatic machine-guns. While at least two Palestinians have lost their lives as a result of the attack, the brave Palestinian people -who heard the news of attack- begun to resist with stones and petrol bombs by gathering in front of the Jericho prison compound. The people who took to the streets in Gaza burned down a British cultural centre, called the “British Council”, under the leadership of revolutionary militants.
And the imperialist USA and Britain -those who claim to be an apostle of “democracy”, “peace” and “human rights” but, in fact, are responsible for the massacre of each Palestinian as well as for the death of alls the Iraqis due to the imperialist occupation- have also documented their partnership in the last attack and killings by withdrawing their monitors prior to the attack on prison which was under their supervision.
The attack carried out by the Zionist Israeli State against the General Secretary of PFLP, Ahmed Saadat, one of the political vanguards of the Palestinian people, is also an attack against the Palestinian people, the working class and labourers. For Ahmed Saadat, who is now being imprisoned by Zionism, is the representative of the Palestinian people’s will-power. By the attack, the Israeli State has both violated the people’s will-power and the international laws.
While condemning with hatred the Zionist attack against the General Secretary of PFLP, comrade Ahmed Saadat, and the Palestinian people, we, as MLCP, once more shout with all of our strength and heart that we are on the side of Ahmed Saadat, the Palestinian people and the Palestinian cause. Imperialists, Zionist murderers and collaborator forces should know that this mill will definitely be smashed; the victory sooner or later will come to the Palestinian people, workers and
labourers.
