Also it is our obligation to inform you that by third consecutive day, our heroic people of Oaxaca continued facing the military police intervention ordered by President Vicente Fox Quezada and Felipe Calderon to protect Ulises Ruiz Ortiz, the assassin governor.
Throughout the day of Sunday, while the Police Preventive Federal - PFP entered with "blood and fire", in different points from the city the resistance lived the invasion; the police advanced sending water spurts with burning acid, tear gas bombs on a large scale from the air and land and shots of firearms to intimidate.
While this happened in the streets of the city, the Federal Agency of Investigations AFI detained communitarian leaders and teachers in their barricades and tens of home addresses,
The police spent several hours to be able to advance and it was not but until the square was left by the demonstrators during the night when they could enter in the main square of the city.
The balance, 3 assassinated by the PFP and the AFI: Jorge Alberto Lopez Bernal (stretcher-bearer of the IMSS), Fidel Sanchez (professor) and Bernardine Lopez (young of 12 years), 60 people were detained in diverse jails and the military zone and tens of disappeared. This without adding the victims assassinated, wounded and jailed before this date of occupation.
The assassins deny the happened facts, they say that the balance has "turned very well…" with "absolute public accountability…" and that "the peace and tranquility have been recovered by the people who live in Oaxaca…"
Our organized people in the Popular Assembly of the People of Oaxaca, even in the middle of the repressive violence untied by the PFP, continues going out and demand the following:
1. Immediate resignation and jail for the assassin Ulises Ruiz Ortiz and his accomplices.
2. Immediate retirement of the Preventive Federal Police and other police groups of Oaxaca .
3. Stop repression and to demand the immediate liberation of prisoners
Until now, in spite of the great international and national solidarity that we have received and in spite of the great manifestations of masses that occur in Oaxaca, those who badly rule this country; the PRI and PAN (Mexican Political Parties), wealthy people and the catholic reactionary church, they continue with the eagerness to maintain the satrap against the will of a whole people and without concerning the serious consequences of his blinkered attitude.
We make a worldwide call and a national call to the people of Mexico, wherever you are, to increase your warm support to the fight that frees the people of Oaxaca and particularly the miner companions of Lázaro, Cárdenas. Mich., to take the following measures:
1. To lodge a protest in your work area in solidarity with the fight of our people.
2. To organize a convoy of solidarity from Lázaro Cárdenas to Oaxaca and to add themselves to other convoys that are being organized.
3. To offer financial solidarity support to our fight journey.
Working companions:
At the present time the unitary resistances at national level are indispensable to stop the governmental massacre to the heroic people of Oaxaca, to contribute in the destitution of the satrap and the necessary construction and strengthening of a great popular convergence of opposition to the regime.
Long live the unitary fight of the people and workers of Mexico!

Subject COMMUNIQUÉ FROM THE POPULAR ASSEMBLY OF THE PEOPLES OF OAXACA
Body: Right now the PFP is trying to enter University City. They’ve shot teargas into the campus, and some of their troops have gone in. These acts do violence to any kind of legal precepts including university autonomy, which was achieved at the Benito Juarez Autonomous University of Oaxaca by means of an intense struggle waged by university students that cost the deaths of many of the state’s best sons and daughters.
The Popular Assembly of the Peoples of Oaxaca makes an urgent call for the absolute defense of University City. We can’t allow university students to be attacked by the forces of occupation into which the PFP has been converted by government henchmen.
We’re calling on the people of Oaxaca to come out and defend University City. In the past few days we called for a peaceful withdrawal from the positions held by the APPO. We did this to show that the APPO is willing to settle this conflict through dialogue in spite of the fact that the government of Fox and Calderón showed just the opposite intent with their decision to send in invading troops. We demonstrated our prudence and willingness to dialogue in several different ways: the invading forces were not attacked, we only called for passive resistance in opposing them, we ordered our people to withdraw from their positions and not to respond to provocations and not engage in confrontations with the PFP in spite of their attacks. But, Fox and Calderón, it seems that you lackeys of imperialism confuse prudence with weakness and pacifism with cowardice. In the belief that the people of Oaxaca are cowards, you’re trying to crush them.
We are thereby issuing instructions to all the people of Oaxaca to advance in an organized, determined fashion towards Radio Universidad. We’re calling on people to give their all in defending University City and the university autonomy that you are trampling underfoot.
The Oaxacan people are a valiant people. We’ve demonstrated this in the last five months and we’ve demonstrated it throughout history, defeating the French army despite technological disadvantages during the occupation of the invading forces. Back then, some people who had forsaken their country collaborated with them. History has judged them. The same people who applauded and collaborated with the French Army now applaud the deaths of our 19 compañeros. Those who applauded the intervention of the PFP are now crying over the looting of their businesses by the PFP and the sexual harassment of their daughters by the PFP. This is only the beginning.
Just as President Juárez taught us to defend the principles of the Republic, just as Juárez and Magón taught us to struggle and defend the dignity of the people, today the people of Oaxaca will fight a battle to defend University City. In an organized, disciplined fashion, we will defeat the invaders, the army of occupation. If Fox doesn’t order an end to this offensive, he’ll bite the dust of defeat. Our lives and our blood won’t be spilled in vain. Justice and reason are on our side. Hundreds of thousands of us Oaxacans will fight today.
Messrs. Vicente Fox, Carlos Abascal Carranza, and Felipe Calderón, you are responsible for the deaths the PFP and the paramilitary PRI party members have caused. You will be responsible for the deaths brought about by your stupidity and political interests.
