Nano goes beyond ethics of some scientists, we need to halt it with basic health & safety rules now!!

OXONICA oxford based company & first makers of nano titanium dioxide Optisol suncreams which US government are now recommending limited doses due to harmful effects have come out with a nanoparticle fuel to save energy on combustion, ENVIROX primarily made for asian market as vehicles there are old & cannot be upgraded etc it is an additive made in Australia by ANT fuels.

The additive cerium oxide a nano oxidation catalyst improves efficiency by 5-10% & is “cost effectve”, it has been used in Phillipines & apparently all of the UK Stagecoach fleet, so maybe this is why the megabus is so cheap?, we are guinea pigs for untested products. Research on titanium oxide nano suncreams that have been used decades have shown side effects, so what is envirox doing to our lungs?.

Bus workers in stations & drivers seem to be unaware of this, if in IWW, TGWUetc please pass info on. I was in Victoria bus station London & workers I spoke to there are just working on rumours.

This additive may now be being used on trains & other vehicles, worth checking with your supplier or company & demanding health & safety regualtions,use your consumer power too if travelling.

DEFRA last year & EU only have non commital guidelines made with afew ngos's like greenpeace & FOE doing their best.

Nano companies as it is a multi billion fast moving sector. But if insurance companies & other sectors start getting itchy like with global warming then we can hopefully start slowin down or stopping any harmful effects.

there needs to be a halt & regulation of nanotech asap, so far in the eu & globally there are just guidelines,

In febuary the International Union of Food, Farm & Hotel Workers considers global nano-moratorium to stop nanotech, this is amazing news that a workers organisation even if not libertarion based is helping llead the charge to stop dangerous nanotech.
