Campaign for a Written UK constitution

mcc | 06.05.2007 11:00

A justice for all ampaign

CIRCULATE THIS EMAIL TO YOUR FRIENDS: POOR PEOPLE NOT GETTING ANY
JUSTICE IN UK

In the UK, the ordinary men and women do not have equal access to
justice as those few with financial wealth. This is so, because we in the UK
do not have a written constitution that protect our legal rights as
enjoyed like citizens of the USA, for example.

In consequence, in the UK, our court and legal services to a large
extent are corrupt, leaving the ordinary men and women without genuine
access to justice. Accordingly, I have setup JuryObservers to campaign for
a written constitution to protect employment, consumer, immigration,
civil partnership, welfare, housing, human and civil rights in the UK.

In the UK, you are more likely to suffer discrimination (age, race or
disability) at the hands of the court and legal services if you are a
litigant in person; relying on legal aid or if you retained a solicitor
but can just merely afford to do so, hence, ending up with one of the
many corrupt ones.

The government and the main opposition careless about justice for the
ordinary man and more about proving who can spend less on less worthy
cause such as the right to be heard, and the right to be treated fairly
in a democratic society.

One example of the way the court suppresses the rights of the less
fortunate in the UK society is via the common law. This is laws made by
judges each day in court relying on their powers under UK unwritten
constitution. This power is known as statutory interpretation.

Indeed, when the UK parliament, the European parliament or government
minister makes rules, it is the responsibility of the UK court to apply
the proper meaning. This is also the case where the court is asked to
adjudicate on matters involving private individuals or private companies
bringing a claim in court. In this latter instance, in consequent of
the unnoticed corruption taking place in the UK court and legal services,
the courts are abusing their powers as they relate to statutory
interpretation in favour of claimants of wealth and those with private paid
solicitors and barristers at the expense of litigants relying on legal
aid or unprofessional and corrupt solicitors.

In the UK today, violent crime are rising out of control and
particularly among the poor and less fortunate. This I believe can be attributed
to people perception that the system is corrupt, nobody cares, the
government do not care; as it is busy trying to bring in cheap labour from
abroad (A.K.A highly skilled programme – legalised slavery through the
backdoor) and at the same time, cutting welfare benefits without
properly addressing the reasons why the claimants are on welfare benefit in
the first instance; and make adequate alternative allowances. To make
matters worse, if you are poor and even a government department take you
to court, or being a defendant in the claim, most likely the decision
is going against you.

Recently, it has been revealed that a large percent of children in the
UK are living below the poverty line; UK being the fourth richest
country in the world. Yet, the government is alarmed of how much children
below the age of 16 are recently involved in guns and knife related
violence.

You can help bring the corruption in the UK court and legal services to
the attention of the public, and at the same time, help to campaign for
a written UK constitution to protect fundamental rights and freedom. We
are also campaigning for each and every hearing, including court
hearings, which will lead to a decision of record to be video recorded
throughout and at the end of the proceeding, and as part and parcel of the
written decision, the parties to the hearing must be given a copy of the
video taped evidence to afford them an opportunity to prepare for any
necessary appeal. This being part of the European Convention on human
rights which provides for a fair hearing and fair and equal treatment.

The hearing cannot be fair and equal if the parties are treated
differently by the judge on the basis of their class.
