Fuck Mark Kennedy, his crocodile tears, and his fucking documentary.

Undercover slimeball cop Mark Kennedy is still busy telling lies and conning people, as the forthcoming Channel 4 “documentary” about his activities demonstrates to anyone who actually had dealings with the sleazy scumbag. As every activist who knew him as Mark Stone knows, Kennedy has lied through his teeth in every well-paid interview he’s given. Among the falsehoods Kennedy has spun is that he had it rough while undercover, living on lentil-burgers in dirty squats, and working hard to earn his fat salary. Of course we all know that Kennedy lived the high life, dining in expensive restaurants and spending his time partying and shagging around. The pictures above give a more accurate impression of how Kennedy really spent his time undercover. The macho wanker hoped they’d never see the light of day, well ‘Up yours Kennedy, you fucking creep’!

Channel 4 are complete mugs to pay this arch-liar a penny for more of his bollocks.

Remember though, his life undercover was spent mostly with someone in particular.
Maybe photos of him looking daft are funny for you, and allow everyone to have a good laugh at him, but an innocent person's last 7 years are also represented in photos such as these, and all the social events he attended. That doesn't mean don't publish them....just remember not everyone is going to look at them with glee....this shit is still raw and people are still very hurt.

I doubt it's just Mark Kennedy who didn't want the world to see these pictures - Otherwise, like the hundreds of other photos that must exist of Kennedy, they'd have been published a long time ago. I seem to recall being told there were no photos of Kennedy that could be posted to Indymedia, yet anyone who knew him would know there had to be hundreds. These 4 photos might represent a leak, but it's hard not to conclude that in the past (when they might have been more important), these and many other photographs of Kennedy were deliberately suppressed.

Also, I was a close personal friend of Mark Kennedy, or so I thought, for 5 years. I find doing anti-repression work very important. Also, Kennedy is not the only undercover officer or informant uncovered. In the last year, there are new publicly known cases also in Switzerland, Austria, USA, New Zealand, Germany, and of course, multiple cases in the UK.

Lots of people have been hurt by these actions. And lots of people will continue to be, unless we do something about it. Let's please take that into consideration as well.

At worst there were some bad decisions taken under pressure, and one or 2 people that were slightly over-protective of their close friends who'd been hurt by this fuck, both of which given the circumstances could surely be forgiven?

The conspiracy theory bollocks on here, the crap about "suppressed pictures" without enquiry as to what the fuck use pictures are beyond what's necessary to identify him, blah, blah is almost as damaging as Kennedy was himself. He didn't succeed in dividing us, but a few people here are trying very hard to do so.

I hadn't seen those pics before. They add NOTHING to the issue and would have added NOTHING if published at any time in the past. They're just a laugh and (I hope) a bit of humiliation for Kennedy. As pointed out, we should be mindful that what is laugh for most of us might be a stab in the heart for someone else.

Yes, there are people -one in particular- whose feelings need to be considered and who desperately needs NOT to be dropped in the shit of publicity and media harassment.

I have a question for those who think it's OK just to smash the lives of a few people who were the most personally hurt by Kennedy and closest to the deceiving bastard. If that's your attitude to the personal welfare, mental health and recovery from trauma of your comrades, or one of them, what the hell are you doing in our movement at all? Wouldn't a career as a banker or a cop be better suited to your "fuck solidarity, let's just kick people, anyone in front of us will do" mentality? Or perhaps you have one of those careers already, eh? If you're offended by that, please explain what the fuck your motives are and why you're so keen to expose to media harassment innocent people for whom it would be a disaster.

There should be nothing strange to you about operating on a "need to know" basis. I know all that I need to about Kennedy and the others, and I know no more than you do. What more do you need to know and WHY? What if your desperation to know more inconsequential information of no actual use buggers up the possible exposure of other police spies?

Kennedy wasn't the only one, and it's inconceivable that the others named in the wake of Kennedy's outing were, or are, the whole story, either. Those who advocate stomping all over this issue in big boots risk cutting off progress from suspicion to proof in other cases, and it's proof we need. Loose ends and suspicion only cause division and lead us round in circles and up our own arses. Why are some people so keen to achieve that object instead of what we have achieved in outing Kennedy, "Lynn", "Marco" etc. and may achieve in other cases?

I had a close relationship with the person I knew as Mark Stone for several years. Obviously I was devestated when I found out he was a cop, and in fact I'm still having counselling for it. It wasn't 'Stone' I felt most betrayed by though - he was just a fucking cop afterall. Far worse were some of the self-appointed hand-wringers who set themselves up as "The Most Affected" to the exclusion of everyone else. A year on and there are still people hiding behind the skirt-tails of someone who doesn't even read Indymedia anymore. "Get over yourselves" is fair comment.

As for the pics, it makes me feel just a little bit better knowiog that Kennedy will be squirming at the sight of them and that they help to undermine his falsehoods and the false image he's been busy creating.

From the very first thread here on Mr Kennedy/Stone there have been people trying to set people against each other with their postings.

They could just be idiots. They could be trolling for free. They could be employed by the police to troll. Whatever. They add nothing. That's all that needs to be said about them.

Those whose lives were and still are affected to a great extent by this criminal, and that is more than one person, it runs into at least hundreds, are the ones we need to support as much as we can. The betrayal was much deeper with some people than others, but all were betrayed.

People should devote time to making the bastards pay for this, as well as continuing with their other campaigns.

As for the slimeball Mr Kennedy/Stone, the criminal is beneath contempt. I hope his money making film is a flop.

Why on earth would anyone apart from Mark Kennedy "curse" whoever put these pictures up?! Surely, apart from giving many of us a laugh, they expose what Kennedy was/is really like better than a thousand words could. In view of an impending documentary, for which Kennedy will be receiving a packet, and which will be vastly more intrusive than anything on IM, surely their publication is highly germaine. I really don't understand the negative comments. Surely, if anyone was wreckless or insensitive, it was those who went touting the story to Fleet Street.
