LEGALLY KIDNAPPED IN 2 COUNTRIES A DEVASTATED FAMILIES STORY

Norfolk social services told Spanish social services that we had ran away from Great Yarmouth and we had taken our children with us this was not true we moved from Yarmouth as there was not much work there, and we felt after having our children stolen/kidnapped, we could not live there, as everyone was watching us, and we felt that someone would come along and steal our


children again so we moved to Spain in 2004 and here in Mallorca our children were taken away in 2006 , now we do not see them at all, we have no visits anymore we are not allowed to send birthday cards, we are not allowed phone calls. We have done nothing wrong only love and care for our children and try to give them a better life, Spanish social services took our children from school without our knowledge, we had no experience of Spanish social services, they were taken from school with no consultation from us; we only found out when we were taken (by the police) to the social services office in Palma, no letters, no previous meeting nothing. They were kidnapped.


Since our children were taken on 23rd May 2006, we have tried everything, on the suggestion of our first solicitor, Luis Morrell, we went to the British Consulate within a few days of them being taken, they told us they could not get involved, but one of the consulate staff took it upon herself to kindly act as interpreter for us for a
while, until Social Services prevented her attending meetings.


We have written to every authority we could think of, even as far as
writing directly to the heads of the Spanish Government and the King
himself, every newspaper in Spain and the UK, we have contacted television news companies both in the UK and here in Mallorca; but to date, over six years later, we have not received a single reply from anybody. We have been criticized and persecuted by these 'people', our family has been systematically destroyed. My wife was banned from having any contact with our children for nearly two years simply because she
accused them of kidnapping them for money. All of this started because they sent three letters to us, but to the wrong address. Yet they insist that was our fault.
They returned the children to us for about a year, and then when we asked them for some help for our eldest girl, they took them all away again.
Since that, we have been restricted to a visit once a month for one hour, we are not allowed to send them birthday cards or contact them at all. The only time we get news of the welfare of our children is from Tracey's parent in the UK. They came over for a week last month and saw the children once.


Because they are no quite elderly they could not travel to Palma to see the children as it would involve two bus journeys there and two more to return, so the children came to them and played in a park outside the hotel in which Tracey's parent were staying. The park is at the end of our street and we were returning home we passed that
particular park on the way home. Morgan, our youngest daughter saw us and ran to us. There were hugs and kisses then they had to go because the children were being picked up. We spent a total of maybe three minutes with them. Two days later the Grandparents were due to see the children again but they did not turn up. The visit had been cancelled because we had seen the children at the park.


SOCIAL SERVICES DID NOT EVEN TELL TRACEY'S PARENTS.
No one will help us, our family has been decimated. Our children have grown up not really knowing their parents; we are just two people who turn up for an hour once a month baring gifts and food. We have missed the best part of our children’s development and education. Our two youngest children can barely speak any English anymore; the SS response is that we must learn Spanish. We feel we cannot trust anybody in authority on this Island any more.

Our Landlord, Tracey and I were arrested on 28th November 2012 at half past ten in the evening the allegations from Social Services are that Tracey and I were prostituting our daughter Amelia to our landlord (COMPLETELY UNTRUE). Tracey and I spent 3 days in jail until we went to court; our Landlord was released almost immediately, the end result was that we were released with an order not to have any contact with Amelia whatsoever. Since the court case Social Services has used this order to stop us seeing or contacting any of our children. This case has now been dismissed since our daughter went to court and gave evidence that the allegations were all untrue, however, we have not received any notification from the courts and we have not had the visits with any of our children reinstated.
They have also placed Jamie into a permanent fostering program, despite our objections. We have just discovered that Social Services are now trying to allege that our Landlord molested Jamie too. This is probably because a successful conclusion of their case against our Landlord is in doubt; all it does really is show exactly what twisted and vicious minds these “people” have, they are just throwing every allegation they can at anybody they can just in case something sticks with no regard of whether or not they ruin peoples, or our children’s lives.
