Tuesday 19th December 2000, 20 campaigners, dressed as turkeys, succeeded in blocking the Asda distribution depot at Dartford for a good part of the morning. They were demanding an end to the use of GM feed in Asda's animal products. Asda have as yet to make any moves in this direction, and further direct action of this sort is inevitable.
