BNP ELECTION CANDIDATES ANNOUNCED.....STOP THE BNP IN NOTTS!
The BNP have published their list of candidates for the Council Elections on 3 May. Including Parish councillors they are fielding a record 827 candidates across the country. Most of these are paper candidates with no real campaigns or activity, but they are standing full slates of regional candidates in Scotland and Wales, Birmingham, Leeds, Thurrock and Sunderland.
This is more than twice as many candidates as last year, and more than the National Front at it's peak in the 1970's.
THIS IS WHY IT IS SO IMPORTANT TO GET OUT THERE WITH UNITE AGAINST FASCISM. We need to be lefaletting against the BNP, stickering, and exposing the fascists for who they are. The BNP are putting suits on and trying to appear respectable, and we have to strip this image of legitamacy from them.
The good news is that Nottingham city remains an area where there are no candidates standing. The closest places to Nottingham they are standing are Hucknall, Brinsley, Eastwood, Heanor and Ilkeston. The biggest dangers at the moment are Hucknall where last year the BNP pulled about 25% of the vote, and Heanor, where they lost by only 16 votes last time.
LEALFET HUCKNALL NEXT WEDNESDAY 18 APRIL!!!!!
We're making a start in Hucknall next Wednesday, where there are already Unite Against Fascism members. Susan Gamble is the BNP candidate in Hucknall West, and we can leaflet the entire ward in a few hours with enough people. We're meeting at the MARKET SQUARE TRAM STOP FROM 5.30PM, AND AT HUCKNALL TRAM STOP AT 6.30PM.
Last year when the BNP stood we leafletted the area well, even the night before the election the BNP could only muster two leafletters!
SPREAD THE WORD, FORWARD THIS EMAIL TO EVERYONE YOU KNOW. The BNP have a much better chance of winning when the electoral turnout is low, and a much better chance of winning where there is no opposition. The more people that can make it to Hucknall the better, IT IS ESSENTIAL WE EXPOSE THE BNP AS THE RACISTS AND FASCISTS THAT THEY ARE

I'm totally 100% for stopping the rise of fascism manifested this time as the BNP, but if you think I'd stop it in one form just to help it along in another you must be out of your mind.
The ONLY reason the UAF exist, is to stop the BNP from taking council seats and expenses away from the Nu-Lab council gangs as they instigate what the hell they want where they want; the rest is just words and arse-kissing.
Give a real alternative and I'll support it otherwise peddle your tricks elsewhere; and before UAF members attack me for saying a few home truths just remember that I've actually seen groups of you out made up almost ENTIRELY of either Nu-Lab councillors or candidates in the past! Explain that away then?

I used to put up stickers and collect the football ones, when I was about 8 yrs old.
Pathetic, really pathetic.
I imagine that when the fash realised how dangerous these stickers looked it must have sent them scurrying off. It must have been the reason for them quitting; for certain!
I've got an idea! Why don't we just all put up as many stickers as we can at the next election, tens of thousands of them everywhere and that'll bound to halt the BNP's election machine in its tracks won't it.

thats not what i meant by active fascism, i meant organised groups...ie blood and honour or one of the militant fascist groups that have sprang out from the fall of the NF. ive never heard anything of the sort in sheffield which is really nice and quite a positive thing compared to the rest of europe (which is going bad in anti-fascist terms). where i live now the openly fascist and nazi groups are dangerous and organised and there are a lot of them-there are most probably even more active fascists than ACTIVE anti-fascists.

Many of us know PD and if you had any idea about him you would also know that one of his life long friends who does stand with him on occasion is a convert to Islam. Whats more sickening is that IM allow this kind of tripe up without checking the facts and just based on hearsay. PD is a good family man who has been running that business for years and has friends from many ethnic backgrounds.
