Remember "Pseudo-groups". . . .how far back does that pattern go? "Blackshirts?"
Recent information at least re-opens questions about "accepted" bits of the "historical" past. The intervention of those with pots of cash to spend on gumshoe types, either trying to smear, frame, or associate sensible-sounding types with "fire-breathing terrorists" is at least matched by the frequency of the same sort of paid gumshoe types ( sometimes touting for work, or whipping up "customers" paranoia to play a bit of "tail-wag-dog" ) setting up entirely "owned" false-flag operations, occasionally by dropping their people into a group then pushing serious/sensible people out ( either with a bit of character smearing, the accusal of them as "agent provocateurs", or wearing them down - or worse. . . . ) - but at times with entirely created groups - sometimes with several different "depths" (for when people unwittingly dragged into them saw through one layer of the spin!)[Full Story | 9 comments ]
Shut ITT! - Full Timeline
A mass protest against Brighton-based arms manufacturers EDO MBM/ITT has just started. Organised by the Smash EDO campaign, the event is called Shut ITT! and is the third such demonstration this year. Last June, Brighton saw the Carnival Against the Arms Trade, organised by Smash EDO too. The 600 or so protesters then managed to reach the Brighton bomb factory despite police attempts to stop them.
Below is a full timeline put together by the Indymedia Dispatch team. It's being updated as reports come in, so keep an eye on it!

Israeli exporter shut down as part of 'Boycott Israeli Goods' week of action
Both gates to the Carmel-Agrexco depot in Hayes, Middlesex, have been blocked. Four protesters have locked themselves inside a cage blocking one gate, while another is D-locked to the other gate.
The action in the early hours of Sunday morning was timed to coincide with a Week of Action called by the Boycott Israeli Goods campaign (www.bigcampaign.org). Protests against the sale of produce from apartheid Israel have taken place outside supermarkets around the country, which account for 60% of Carmel-Agrexco's total exports.

Aldermaston Big Blockade – Monday, October 27 2008
In 2006/7, Faslane 365 saw well over 1000 arrests during a year-long blockade of the Trident submarine base in Scotland. Last Easter, Atomic Weapons Establishment (AWE) Aldermaston saw its biggest demonstration in two decades as 5000 people surrounded the base to mark the 50th anniversary of the first London to Aldermaston march. Trident Ploughshares now invite you to a major blockade of the Berkshire nuke factory, where billions of pounds are currently being spent developing new warhead facilities that will scupper nuclear disarmament for another 50 years. Help us uphold international law by blockading this factory of death in what promises to be a colourful celebration of life and people power. There is a role for everyone, arrestable or non-arrestable, young or old. This event is supported by CND.
