Join the Big Blockade of Britain’s Nuclear Bomb Factory! - Monday 27 October

Faslane Big Blockade - Oct '07 (C. Gwyntopher) On October 27, anti-nuclear campaigners will blockade the Atomic Weapons Establishment (AWE) at Aldermaston, near Reading, aiming to send a strong signal to the British government that the public continues to oppose the development of a new generation of nuclear weapons. The Aldermaston Big Blockade, organised by Trident Ploughshares and supported by CND, Block the Builders and the Aldermaston Women's Peace Camp is intended to peacefully disrupt the ongoing work at AWE on Trident nuclear warheads and their successors. We intend it to be a colourful, empowering and fun occasion, with arrest optional!
