The EDL are a racist, Islamaphobic group of football hooligans & bullies. While it may be true that not all of them are racist many of them are. The EDL have rioted in towns across the UK & have attacked Muslims, usually women. They say that they are "against Islamic extremism" but their actions prove that they are racist and Islamaphobic against all Muslims. They have put a pigs head on a Mosque.

As you can see he has an EDL t-shirt hanging on his wall alongside a swastika flag. A Tower Hamlets community activist was badly beaten, robbed and hospitalised on Wednesday following an England football match by a group of drunken thugs who had been drinking in a pub in Whitechapel Road. Afsar Khan Sadek was so badly beaten he was hospitalised and could not speak. He was then mistreated by the police who seemed to find what happened amusing and who were insensitive.

It should be understood that the raid on the Flotilla also coincided with NATO-Israel war games directed against Iran. According to the Sunday Times "three German-built Israeli submarines equipped with nuclear cruise missiles are to be deployed in the Gulf near the Iranian coastline."
While these naval deployments were underway in the Persian Gulf, Israel was also involved in war games in the Mediterraean. The war game codenamed "MINOAS 2010" was carried out at a Greek air base in Souda Bay, on the island of Crete.
Also, in the wake of the decision directed against Israel's nuclear weapons under the auspices of the Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT), the White House reaffirmed not only its support to Israel, but also to Israel's nuclear weapons capabilities. The statement issued one day before the raid on the flotilla points to US support of "Israel's strategic and deterrence capabilities, which also include the launching of a pre-emptive nuclear attack on Iran.

Serving soldiers from the Royal Corps of Signals and the Parachute Regiment have joined the protest in Parliament Square against the war in Afghanistan. Boris Johnson has described the sight of the soldiers and supporters as "mess and squalor" and MPs have called the protest, including the soldiers, as a "national disgrace". The protest camp is against the war in Afghanistan but respects troops.
