Lincoln LARFs at the BNP

avin a larf | 02.12.2006 19:08 | Anti-racism | Nottinghamshire

The Lincoln Against Facism and Racism coalition group organised a short walk around Lincoln City centre today.

Christmas shoppers were out in force and, despite a couple of boneheads in the crowd, many were curious and took leaflets away with them.
Just over 100 people gathered at the end near Cornhill - a good number for Lincoln, but could do better !!

Pixellation, anyone?

04.12.2006 11:15

Yes, I was there too, and it's good that people have taken photos etc,BUT why haven't you pixellated close-ups of people's faces? Photos that have been posted on here in the past have ended up on Redwatch - please think next time.

Bertie Badger

why cover your face?

05.12.2006 00:10

people don't need to cover they faces, I been on red watch, and you know what FUCK EM, I not scared.no fear! no pasaran!

richy

that's fine for you

05.12.2006 11:34

But the majority of people would rather not live in fear of having their windows smashed, having threatening letters though their door (or worse), having their car torched, etc...

redwatch

07.12.2006 12:16

virtually nothing happens as a consequence of redwatch (mostly outraged liberal hype relating to a couple of attacks), so there's nothing to fear; the fash fantasize about being a presence on the streets to compensate for the fact they've been soundly beaten off them. that said, it ain't the poster's call whether people want to be on it, and so a bit of pixellation would do no harm ...

(A)

redwatch? ha!

09.12.2006 13:56

Surely if anyone had and genuine fear of retaliations then they wouldn't have attended the march? If there were repurcussions it would be from fascists who were there and spotted people they recognised, not from the cowards who laughably attempt to scare people via their pathetic little web site.

Pixellating faces would only show that there's something to fear. They're not worth the effort of being scared.
