Bookbinding & Juggling Workshops - 12th April

Squat Nottingham | 23.03.2008 22:17 | Culture | Education | Free Spaces | Nottinghamshire

Two workshops are being held - one showing people how to make books out of recycled materials and another on juggling. Both of these will be held at an autonomous occupied space in the centre of Nottingham on Saturday the 12th April 2008.

Bookbinding workshop - 10am-1pm

"Learn to bookbind by recycling and reusing waste that you have around you. Bring scrap papers, used envelopes, card and bits & bobs to transform into a beautiful functional book."

There are 12 spaces available in the book binding workshop so please book. Contact details below.

Juggling workshop - time to be confirmed

"A hands on guide to making inanimate objects dance in the air. Whether you want to learn traditional juggling or something like devil sticks, have experience or are a complete novice, come along and take part in this fun and entertaining pastime. If you've got appropriate equipment, or even just some oranges, you could do worse than bring them with you!"

Book now as there's only 15 spaces on this one.

The location of these workshops will be close to Nottingham city centre. The exact address will be announced on Friday 11th April on Notts Indymedia and can be obtained the same day by calling the phone number below.

Juggling workshop times

30.03.2008 13:20

The juggling workshop will be 2-4, following a lunch break.

We'll be serving food in between these workshops (and dinner later on) and are asking for donations only, so don't worry if you're short of cash.

Also, both workshops are free, in case that wasn't clear in the original posting.
