A dry, sunny and very colourful gay day. Many costumes and exhuberance. Music and acts from the bandstand, dance tent, and beer tent, [of course].
Next to the inevitable merchandising, there were many stalls giving out a wealth of information of concern.
Lord Mayor of Nottingham turn out, taking time out from harassing Robin Hood and merry men, to make a speech and declare everything open.
This year also represents the 41st anniversary of the decriminalisation of homosexuality.
