Election Fraud in the news again . . . . but its those that aint that are worst

hecs, etc - laketown + friends | 03.05.2008 15:26 | Globalisation | History | Technology

From the accepted profession of old western cold war operators in the 1950s (- see most accepted history, plus "COUP", the old 1960s textbook on the subject ) rigging elections has gotten a bad name, as "dictators" legitimise themselves with what others claim are stitched up polls . . . . but surely, if the experiences of those old operators is accepted ( where did they get to, eh ?) - its the criminal semi-coups - selecting the susceptible, easy-to-blackmail, or "pre-spun" people from EACH party thats the problem the world should worry about most - on the basis of how much the influencers of their opinions - or those they might appoint - could shake bungs out of the assortment of slushfunds, "commissions", etc in todays world of shutting down fraud enquiries "in the national interest", or complicity for the sake of the "defence of the realm" - it aint that much of a surprise that people might think they could get away with it, at least long enough to leave a few other people to take the rap. . . . or suffer the effects of the escape of poison from the drains of the new "supersafe" citycentre testing lab . . . . etc

For example - under the "political hardball" that we are often told is either about ideology - "keeping the commies out", etc - or keeping the legal "loopholes" open for entire types of people ( say, shareholder, "undeserving" workless income ) - its all too possible that these widening circles of "complicity" allow the most straightforward, dodgy actual criminal scam to exist - with the "rewards" going to people who also have houses - under different names - in different parts of the world . . . .
The local elections in the UK could do with a little examination on the basis of THAT sort of "what if" - postal, registration, "deadvotes", opaque computer systems ( sometimes with back doors), etc - whereas the internet-theorists" theories should have their pet bogey-people taken out of the theories but looked at afresh in THIS straightforward light, with the expectation of a bit of "compartmentalisation". "False flags" they used to call it, but if a few members of a poll station staff thought they were secret ultra-nationalists, spacemen, "diabolic" vampires or "luminous", but in all cases the results end up with a new, dodgy PFI project getting past t'commitee . . . . perhaps they should regain the sort of scepticism about who they were doing it for that the investigators are going to have.
For all that, there are serious honest people in all parties - the test of opening then supporting investigations that might show that a few of "your" lot - or your favourite - got into "power" - or prominence - due to the machinations of people with the stupidest of criminal intents - thats a different test. . . . but the fact is, a lot of people DO pass that test - the way they rally around when theres a war, or threat of invasion, etc - - - - the problem is more often accepting that its happening - at all - H E R E ???? - - - - . . . . but when people have done the math, see the signs of the simultaneous dodgy "media" campaigns, clumsy cover-ups or "the search for fall-guys" . . . . people DO face up to it.
In the USA too - see recent Ohio news - but - quite possibly in the UK - quite possibly in London too.
A few isolated one - offs . . . . or more.
Do the "what ifs". . . . you could also assume a few mistakes from these situations to pop up, with the need for elaborate spins, news distractions, etc - - - - but there are a few of those too, in recent times - say, the vanishing of ALL the Paul votes from a few wards in the recent New Hampshire primaries, later accepted by the local Boards of Election as a fluky mistake . . . . the same fluky mistake in each ward . . . . its enough to get you thinking.

cheers . . . . MORE COMMENTS later + info to remember
