Last Leeds Restaurant Selling Foie Gras

17-05-2007 23:41

Duck Vomits In Tiny Cage from Force Feeding
Anthony's is the last restaurant in Leeds City-Centre selling foie gras, a 'delicacy' made from the force feeding of ducks and geese until their livers swell ten times the natural size. Foie gras is that cruel it is illegal to farm animals for its production in the UK, but it is still imported. Imagine the impact it would make on the catering industry if the UK's fastest growing city did not have a single place serving this disgusting and cruel dish. Please politely contact Anthony's Restaurant and help make foie gras history:

This is a cynical attempt by West Yorkshire constabulary to protect themselves against charges of brutality. By making arrests they are seeking to justify their over-the-top actions and win better publicity for themselves in the face of videos being released onto the internet showing their actions for just what they are.
