Anti-arms trade, peace and other activists are travelling form Bristol & the south west to London over the next few days to protest at & around the Excel centre in East London, location for the DSEi (Defence Systems & Equipment International) arms fair. The Bristol-based Bristle magazine collective celebrates publication of its 20th issue, in it’s 8 year existence, with a massive benefit party at the Malcolm X Centre on September 17th (full details below). This event is being organised in association with the Bristol Dissent group ( dissentbristol@subsection.org.uk), with proceeds going to help those Bristolians facing charges arising from the anti-G8 protests in Scotland this July (Bristle will take just a small cut to fund future publications).

It makes sense to me for Indymedia to move out of the state constructs of 'state' and 'region' by redefining ourselves as part of a bio-region we reconnect ourselves to the ecology on which we depend.

We've imported Palestinian Olive Oil from a Jewish/ Muslim/ Christian Workers Co-op in Israel. We've also got olive soap and Zat'ar herbs. We're based near Totnes, Devon and was wondering if any Indymedias wanted some products?
