IMCER | 19.03.2006 21:34 | Ecology | Birmingham

Fact - EVERY CHILD IN THE UK HAS PLUTONIUM IN THEIR TEETH BECAUSE OF CONTAMINATION BY THE SELLAFIELD NUCLEAR POWER STATION

There is going to be an anti nuclear power protest next Saturday 25th March at the Council House steps in Derby 10.30 – 12.30 as Rt Hon Secretary for State for the Environment, Food and Rural Affairs Mrs Beckett is holding her local surgery. Please bring white anti nuclear boiler suits, banners, noise makers etc.

This is very important with the G8 heading in for more nuclear power stations to solve the climate chaos  http://www.indymedia.org.uk/en/2006/03/336077.html

Fact - EVERY CHILD IN THE UK HAS PLUTONIUM IN THEIR TEETH BECAUSE OF CONTAMINATION BY THE SELLAFIELD NUCLEAR POWER STATION

Fact - AS WE APPROACH THE 20TH ANNIVERSARY OF CHERNOBYL THERE ARE STILL 375 UK FARMS AFFECTED BY RADIOACTIVE CAESIUM

Fact - NUCLEAR POWER STATIONS ENCOURAGE THE PROLIFERATION OF NUCLEAR WEAPONS and do nothing for climate change - in the poorest regions in Africa droughts are causing over 20 million people to suffer

What you can do
WRITE & tell Rt Hon Secretary of State for the Environment, Food and Rural Affairs Mrs Beckett MP (or fax her via WWW.FAXYOURMP.COM) TO FIGHT THE PROPOSED BUILDING OF TEN MORE NUCLEAR POWER STATIONS IN THE UK by April 16th
