No scouse for Rice!

Thousands of people from Liverpool and other parts of the North-West made their point clear about the infamous vist of Condoleezza Rice to the city.

Demonstrators gave the US Secretary of State a hostile reception and made clear that those who bear responsability for torture and war crimes aren't welcome here.

An unprecedented and expensive security operation ensured that 'Condi' and Straw din't have a chance to wave to the protesters.

The constant erosion of our civil liberties in the post 9/11 world and the ever changing Anti Terrorist Bill limit the possibilities of movement of both protesters and ordinary citizens.

More than ever, it's clear that the government is more interested in protecting war criminals than its citizens.

Is there supposed to be no sound on this, or is it just my speakers? Also, any chance of an mpeg version?

Somebody

Rice said on TV that she could handle protest because it is allowed in a democracy. Apparently our police do not recognise that this is a democracy. Somebody ought to speak to them about it.

Alf Narkist.
