Subject: B'Ham Food Not Bombs is about to come under attack

We were informed today by Officer Hall that we are being targeted for termination by the city under pressure from some Five Points business yuppies. If anyone has any advice we would appreciate it. Also  if anyone would be willing to bring a video camera on Sunday at 2:30 and plan to stay a couple of hours that would help us out greatly. We all have our own opinions about the homeless, but we are there for everyone who comes by. If it's illegal to have a potluck picnic on the slowest day of the week in a public space... that's a really screwed up city.

I am going to try to get in touch with Ahmed at the Malcolm X Grass Roots Center to ask him some questions, if Jack or anyone else knows how to contact him that would be very helpful.

And to be really pushy, if anyone REALLY REALLY supports us they could offer to bail one or more of us out of jail should we need it. We are not going to stop.

jefff
