Brum's May Critical Mass

let's go to mass | 09.05.2007 14:26 | Ecology | Workers' Movements | Birmingham

Last Friday between 30-40 cyclists turned up to Critical Mass in Birmingham's city centre. We didn't encounter any driver aggression during our ride but the weather was a little overcast. We also came across a memorial to workers in Pigeon Park to remember those killed at work.

Critical Mass is monthly ride of cyclists and human powered vehicles that meet up for a 'leader-less' ride around town to celebrate cycling culture and reclaim our roads away from petroleum guzzling vehicles.

The next mass in Birmingham is on the first friday of the month, 1st June and meets from 5:30pm at St. Philip's Cathedral (aka Pigeon Park) and sets off for a spontaneous ride around town at about 6 pm.

Come ride with us...
