Post Office Limited workers are reacting to plans that their pay will be frozen for three years and 80% of staff will have their pay cut. There are also plans to 'cull' crown post offices across the country resulting in up to 1500 job losses. Coupled with this are plans to 'franchise' 85 post offices to WH Smith.

The C.W.U state that "if Post Office Limited are unwilling to negotiate an adequate pay offer further strike action will be announced."
