Please come and show your solidarity with the people of Burma

We are marching in solidarity with the monks and ordinary people of Burma who are risking their lives for freedom and democracy.

We appeal to all religious and secular communities across the world not to look the other way while the people of Burma cry out for international support.

Venue: -Meet outside Square Peg Public House , Corporation Street,Birmingham City Centre

Time: 12:00pm

Saturday 6th October is International Burma Action day we plan to meet at the above location. We will write Buddhist prayer flags with our prayers and thoughts for Burma and the people's struggle for democracy. We will then form them a line and then walk with them in silence to Victoria Square where later in the day we will hold a candle light vigil-Please bring a tea light and a glass jar/ holder with you.
