A meeting is being called to start forming the West-Midlands neighbourhood for this year's Camp for Climate Action on Tuesday 27th May, 7pm, at the Friends of the Earth building in Digbeth.

Map here:  http://www.streetmap.co.uk/newmap.srf?x=407590&y=286728&z=1&sv=407590,286728&st=4&tl=%7E&bi=%7E&lu=N&ar=y

Anyone interested in the camp, whether you were at Heathrow last year or are unfamiliar with what the climate camp is about but would like to know more, then please do come along. All welcome.

A brief introduction to the climate camp process will be given as well as space for discussions on some of the issues surrounding expansion of the fossil fuels industry, direct action, DIY politics and the crucial importance of Kingsnorth coal-fired power station in Kent (the site of this year's camp, August 3rd-11th). The meeting will also focus on what needs to be done to re-establish a WM neighbourhood this year.

We have the meeting room till around 9pm, so will be aiming for a prompt start.
