Shell's security company revealed

The illegal destruction of Glengad beach in Ireland is being overseen by I-RMS, a private security company with a background in military training. Last week 13 residents were arrested when they tried to question the legality of the work. There have been numerous complaints against unidentified security videoing families using the beach for swimming.

Shell has refused to name the security company involved, but the local newspaper 'The Mayo Echo' revealed that a Kildare-based Business Mobile Security Services Limited, trading as Integrated Risk Management Services (I-RMS) has been providing the security
on the site. I-RMS is owned by Terry Downes and James Farrell. Farrell is a former Sergeant Major of Irelands Special Forces unit of the Army Rangers, whilst Downes is the former head of security of logistics company, TNT. I-RMS has close links with an African security company, based in Kenya, where Shell also has a large presence.
It was suspected locally that the security personnel employed were from a military background.
One employee of the company involved with the security company at Glengad,
Martin O.Brien was contacted by the Mayo Echo. O.Brien was asked why his
staff were filming swimmers at local beaches, and why the same staff refuse to
wear identification, as required under new security regulations. ''I don't wish to
discuss our clients over the phone'', he said before refusing to discuss the matter
further. www.mayoecho.com/this weeks edition

Call the police!

After all, those Met posters tell me that anyone with a camera might be a terrorist and this is near to the site of a major terrorist target. The fact that they are filming kids on the beach means that they are probably peadophiles too!

It can't hurt to try and get the police pissed at the security company for generating lots of call-outs.
