Gaza Peace Vigil

We would like to invite all those concerned about the Israeli attacks on Gaza and what the United Nations describes as ‘the imminent humanitarian catastrophe’ to a Peace Vigil in The Square at 2pm on Saturday 3 January. We will observe a 30-minutes silent tribute to the dead, injured and bereaved people of Gaza and to call for an immediate end to the attacks.
Please bring candles, posters, placards, leaflets, flags and anything else you think might be appropriate in keeping with a respectful and peaceful demonstration.
This event will take place whatever developments occur in the situation in Gaza.
