Reports coming through of strike action by postal workers from tomorrow (Friday) through to Tuesday & beyond: Coventry, Birmingham, and Stoke-on-Trent.
Call for solidarity.

West Midlands postal workers are to take strike action tomorrow, and in Stoke On Trent continuously from Tuesday, according to reports in the corporate media and on the Communication Workers Union website.

The CWU have said that there will be strike action across 'Royal' Mail services in the UK over the next few days.

West Midlands sites affected:

>Friday 7th August:
>Birmingham Vehicle Operation Centre
>Burslem
>Coventry Parcelforce Hub

>From Tuesday 11th August Stoke on Trent will be taking continuous strike action.

This volunteer would like to express solidarity and support.

Postal strikes in Birmingham in the past have been joined at the picket line by the IWW WM and Brum Food Not Bombs. Lets see if we can express even higher levels of solidarity this time around, both in the West Mids and around the UK.
