Election circus coming to the University of Birmingham, Thursday 29th April?

Staff at the University of Birmingham have received ambiguous emails warning of an increase in security on campus on Thursday 29th April, the date of the third election debate, whose location is currently only given as 'the midlands' . There is also a lot of activity by grounds staff painting and planting in the centre of the campus (more than usual, even before the start of a new term or open days) .Its been all but confirmed by excitable lackeys at the student union.

Wherever the debate is held we should be mobilising against it. Not just against the possibility of an EDL or BNP presence , but also the arrival of the leaders and their entourage of yes-men, the corporate media and the continuing spectacle of the election debates. The establishment is trying to find a vehicle for the public to trust and 're-engage' with the sham political system, but the imposition of economic servitude and the state violence that supports it on populations here and abroad will continue whatever colour tie the next prime-minister wears.

See you in Birmingham!
