Anarchists do need to start thinking about mobilising for this one. The IWW are due to be announcing plans for a militant workers bloc soon, but getting a 'direct action bloc' together as well would be a great idea. Rumour is circulating that some fairly unexpected groups are planning something a bit naughty! I think it is vital that anarchists get organised for this one and get thousands of us to brum on the 3rd of october. for transport from yor area, check out www.righttowork.org.uk, or better yet, organise your own transport and drag all yer mates along!

Personal or collective call outs

16.08.2010 07:41

Even though I support the sentiments of this call, anonymously publishing stuff like this does not negate the fact of developing a call with affiliations and support of every anarchist and anti-authoritarian collective, network and federation in the UK.

As the previous poster has said the IWW, which has a relatively strong organisational presence in the West Midlands, is putting a call together for a militant workers bloc which will position itself as a libertarian and revolutionary alternative with in the main body of the march. That does not mean others cannot act or everyone will be subsumed within it.

My only suggestion is that if a call is being made by any group then it should be collectively discussed within the whole movement so that we can be as effective as possible, with as many people as possible.

moreso!

Get as many as possible down on 02 october, the day before, and have a possible convergence centre, the ideas are limitless. If this is going to be a day of rage, then let it be. Will a SWP etc march on the day lead to rage or a fluffy rally onstage at the end? Therefore, it will be as much a rage as we want it to be organised by ourselves. Everyone to the streets!
