EDL in Coventry and Nuneaton today

EDL also going to Coventry and Nuneaton this afternoon. Counter-demo in Coventry at 3.30pm outside council house (Note -- UAF involvement).

The EDL plan to march through Coventry and Nuneaton in defiance of the restrictions imposed on them by the home secretary for their march in Leicester

A small group of EDL have got permission to hold a rally at speakers corner in the centre of coventry at 16:15 tomorrow. UAF is holding a counter protest at 15:30 at the council house.

In the video below (8min35s) EDL leader Tommy Robinson announces that the EDL will split into "three divisions" and march in Coventry and Nuneaton as well as Leicester today.

No Show from the EDL, up to 100 on the demo at the council house, local asian lads as well as UAF, and others keeping a lookout on entries to asian areas after a rumor fascists would march up there. Police vans all around town, police set up a site for the counter-demo away from EDL in Swanswell park, but didn't try and move people there in the end, and everyone went home for tea at 5.

Best bit of EDL shambles in Leicester was seeing them get off a coach, give it large,then run back onto the coach as the local asian youth ran towards them! Hilarious.

Rising membership? (are you in the same game as prick griffin? get some subs of them quick?) you lot couldnt muster more than 1000 nationally... i couldnt give a rats ass about online shit, I'm registered with facebook but have been on their about twice in the last 2 years, I count on facebook numbers but I'm not really 'facebook'.

The people of Leicester at best ignored you! You lose, I dont care if your online interest is increasing, you have no support on the ground. Today proved (as many of your 'new members' will probably think) that you are a mild irritation rather than anything that actually bothers people. very soon you will be reduced to the old NF, 2 men, a union flag and a dog handing out shitty leaflets in a town centre.

You have no cause, you have no support and you have no future..... you can't rejoin the bnp cos their screwed as well...... have you tried UKIP?
