Help us to celebrate an amazing year!

17.12.2010 15:41

2010 has been another amazing year for Midlands Vegan Campaigns (see below):

--> We've held info/food sample stalls at many events,

--> Given talks about vegan campaigning at several events,

--> Staged 2 Cruelty-Free Fairs (Easter & Summer),

--> Organised the third West Midlands Vegan Festival (the biggest yet attracting 1,500 visitors),

--> Our founder (Kevin White) stood for parliament & won 2 awards for vegan campaigning - West Midlands Top 50 Green Leader & the Vegetarian Society Veggie Achiever 2010),

--> Staged the UK Vegan Awards 2010 (which were announced & presented at our festival),

--> Organised coach transport to the first ever National March for Farmed Animals in London & MVC's founder gave a speech at the rally,

--> Finally, we launched our fundraising mobile tuck shop Lakeside Ethical Treats! (which will soon also sell online)  http://www.facebook.com/LakesideEthicalTreats

WOW WHAT A YEAR!! We simply couldn't do any of this without a strong team of committed volunteers & supporters, so thankyou to EVERYONE who has made all this possible!

Please join us to celebrate our achievements, whilst stocking up on ethical festive goodies & enjoying the finest vegan food, at our Cruelty Free Xmas Fair in Kings Heath this Saturday!  http://www.veganmidlands.org.uk/events/kingsheath10.html

We very much hope to see you Saturday but if you can't make it we wish you a Merry, Peaceful Christmas and a Happy New Year.
