Birmingham Food Not Bombs is back

Birmingham Food Not Bombs | 13.10.2011 14:06 | Social Struggles | Birmingham

Food Not Bombs was very active in Birmingham a number of years ago and last night saw the first meeting of a new revitalised group.

Food Not Bombs is a voluntary grass-roots collective which believes in DIY ethics and free food. Food should be a right, not a privilege. The idea is to share vegetarian / vegan food with anyone who wants it in Birmingham. So much good food goes to waste in this city, it’d be a shame not to cook it up and eat it.

We are aiming to distribute this surplus food at regular food tables in the City centre.

If you want to get involved our next planning meeting is next Wednesday 19th October 6pm at the Birmingham Social Centre.  https://birminghamsocialcentre.wordpress.com/

We are aiming to officially re-launch the group on Sunday 30th October in the City Centre where will be giving away free food.
