Short notice! Census court case Wed (23rd) in Birmingham

NoCONcensus | 22.11.2011 21:53 | Anti-militarism | Repression | Birmingham

If anyone has a free hour or so Wed afternoon, there's a census court hearing at Birmingham Magistrates Court at 2pm. Solidarity and support would be much appreciated.

John Goldstein, from Worcester, has been summonsed and is due up in Birmingham magistrates court Wed 23 November in the afternoon after failing to fill his census form out.

In short, he didn't fill in the form because ONS failed to answer his questions about Lockheed Martin's involvement and the safety (or otherwise) of any data he might provide.

John plans to plead not guilty, so there will be a further date set, but it would be good for there to be some support for him inside/outside the court for this hearing.

Birmingham Magistrates Court, Victoria Law Courts, Corporation Street, Birmingham B4 6QA.

cheers!
