On Tuesday 26th February Save Birmingham protesters blockaded the Council House in an attempt to stop Councillors from entering the Council House to vote through £100m worth of cuts for the year ahead.
Over the course of the day over 100 people took part in the Blockade to prevent to undemocratic cuts. Undemocratic because the council completely ignored all public consultations about the budget where the cuts were overwhelmingly rejected. The only option left was to physically prevent the Councillors getting to the meeting.
