Protest Against Fascist BNP Conference In Blackpool Sat 17th Nov

Seriously people...Last year there was a spirited dedmo by around 200 people who braved the drizzle and rallied in Blackpool town centre before marching down the sea-front to the hotel where an estimated 50 BNP were holed up inside. the demo was right outside the door, the police kept a 'sterile zone' between the grassed area of the demo and the hotel doors. Redwatch photo-intimidation crew turned up at the rally but scarpered when the Police were onto them.

WE NEED MORE ANTIFASCISTS AT THIS EVENT!

Unite Against Fascism are doing sterling work to get people there, but we need commited antifascists to get their arses down to Blackpool, down the South Prom past the Pleasure Beach. The demo is slated to start 12 noon. Let's not give the racist, fascist BNP the pleasure of seeing the same or reduced numbers this year.

Last year, a student who attended the rally and demo was attacked on the way back to catch a bus. This typical cowardly attack didn't get the publicity it deserved to reveal the true nature of the Party.

For those armchair activists who have, like me, been watching footage of the events in Prague or in Spain, where a 16 year old antifa was stabbed to death and another seriously wounded, here is a change to turn up and show that you won't stand for fascists to parade around pretending that they are a respectable party.
