Scumbag neo-Nazi Tommy Williams of [ADDRESS REMOVED], Batemoor, Sheffield is regarded by many antifascists as one of the worst scumbags on the far Right. So what the Hell is he doing working in a cat shelter?!
Williams, together with another fascist piece of shit, Dave Howard, runs the ‘Covert Undercover Nuisance Tactics’ blog and forum (
http://covert-tactics. blogspot.com/ - link broken.) This violently racist blog is regarded as ‘unacceptable’ even by many in the BNP. Yet Williams, a BNP member, maintains close ties with both the BNP and Nick Griffin himself.
Williams, a convicted drug dealer, is just the sort of violent thug Griffin tries to pretend is no longer welcome in the BNP, yet many of Williams’ activities, including the ‘C.U.N.T.S.’ blog, are personally sanctioned (and exploited) by Griffin.
But what is this violent ammoral scumbag doing working for an animal charity, namely Sheffield Cat Shelter? How could anyone allow that? It’s true that Williams’ colleagues regard him as pondscum, and that he’s been off work, supposedly suffering from depression, for 9 months now, but he’s still employed there. While claiming sickness benefit, he was certainly well enough to do ‘security’ work on the gate at this year’s ‘Red, White, & Blue’ ‘festival’, and to keep his poisonous blog updated.
Even among many of his fellow fascists, Tommy Williams is regarded as evil. He has no place working with defenceless animals anymore than he might have working with vulnerable children. If you doubt this, just read his vile blog.
Sheffield Cat Shelter may not have known who Tommy Williams was when they employed him, but they certainly know now, and it is high time his employment was terminated.

They probably can't fire him just for being a nazi, but if anyone's got photos of him working security when he's supposed to be on sick leave, that could be just what they need to get rid of him and still protect themselves legally.

The REALITY is that people are multidimensional. They might have perfectly abominable positions in some areas and perfectly desirable ones in another. Being a Nazi does not preclude being a genuine lover of and carer for non-human animals. Problem isn't just in that direction. A person with perfectly good "leftist" credentials might be a gay bashing homophobe.
There is a very real problem in assuming that it would ever be possible to organize based upon the set of people with whom we are in agreement on all issues. Namely, that the set is going to end up being very very small.
So this person being a Nazi is reason for the animal shelter folks to QUESTION his commitment to animals and whether his Nazi attitudes affect his ability to work with the other people at the shelter. But you would be presumptuous assuming that you could predict in advance the answer to those question.

surely if you are "leftist" you are by definition against discrimination by sexuality?
You do occasionally find bigoted "animal lovers" (usually from the older generation, so thankfully they are dying off) but by and large they are shunned by the animal rights movement.
It doesn't matter how much someone like animals, if they are a neo-Nazi they deserve a good kicking.

Then please inform yourself. A link has been provided so it really isn't that hard. Tommy Williams doesn't 'love' or care for animals anymore than he does people. He's a misanthropic scumbag who delights in being unpleasant, in bullying, in inflicting violence. I don't know what his position is at Sheffield Cats Shelter, maybe he's a driver or maybe he cleans the toilets. I certainly hope that he's not left unsupervised with animals.

The nastiest nazis I've encountered said they had never had any pets but 'I wouldn't kill them' - with the empahsis on them. Implicity, I will kill you but I'll leave your animal alone.
