Stop the BNP in Barnsley

It's unlikely that they'll be turning up now, will they. A meeting with Nicky G would have been a proper decent chance to put it up 'em, but not now. Congrats!

There is a faction in the BNP. They are a faction of liars. They have crept into the party with a wicked politics from elsewhere. They tell lies. They tell big lies. Then when people point out that they are liars they say they are persecuted. They have told so many lies that some of the lies are creeping out of the woodwork. There is a faction of the BNP that feeds on the political soldiers. Throwing them away as empties. They have no idea who is dripping out information. They have no idea why their secrets are starting to crawl out the woodwork. The wicked alien politics that the British repeatedly reject is rotting. Did anybody in the Party think to question why Griffin would venture to Barnsley? Surely the BNP agreed to keep out of Barnsley? Or perhaps Griff wants to take part in a Buster Mottram sponsored debate with the Honourable John Whittaker of the UKIP?

The Far Right needs the finance. Otherwise the BNP will collapse into faction fighting again. The signs are already there. The Joey Owen comments about who is and who is not trustworthy is just the tip of a very big iceberg. I have no objection if people want to use physical force once the nazis are out & about but it's better to not have them out in the first place.

You are correct to say that preventing the BNP from putting on meetings in the first place is the aim. However this happens a fair bit, which can also lead to annoyance between the travelling anti-nazis as they question the validity of the information given when the opposition surprisingly don't turn up. The point I make when I stress that this is a lost moment for anti-fascists is because the sheer amount of propaganda and ridicule that could be aimed at nationalists as they fail to protect their main man. Quite a shot in the bollocks I could imagine and it would also make them think twice before putting on another meeting or attempting abit of outreach, opposed to waiting on more information and then trying and get said thing cancelled.
Venues are also less excited with hosting the likes of the BNP if the threat of militant action is threatened, as we can see with the Derbyshire police trying to prevent the RWB happening there again this year.

I will answer , about fifty, the meeting went ahead with about 300 in attendance, Griffin gave his speech.
The anti fascists had to put up with local kids taking the piss out of them.
No sign of class war, although I did here antifa made a very quick appearance, shouting out of a passing van traveling at the speed of light, so no one heard what they said.
Anitifa not that keen to meet the fash in person it seems.

7 May 2009. Barnsley was apparently supposed to be witnessing the might of the ANTIFASH at last nights meeting which saw BNP chairman Nick Griffin speak to an enthusiastic crowd of around 300 Barnsley folk. All the spotty students and middle class 'webels' were going to turn out in force in Barnsley to oppose Mr Griffin. Daft twats like the laughable 'Class War' couldn't even bother turning up despite all their hot air and the rent-a-crowd that did turn up (at £40 per person, yes they actually need to get protesters with a cash insentive) were a right gormless bunch of fuckwits. Their very being there was like watching a dying horse that needed putting out of its misery.
Their numbers were that low (around 60) the police didn't even think their demo qualified to being moved closer to the venue due to the small numbers. Instead they were left taking abuse from locals who didn't want a bunch of leftie wimps and gimps making a racket on their streets. Young local kids were riding past on bikes shouting at the anti-BNP protesters with classic lines such as "fuck off" and "wankers" and "queer cunts". The stupid anti's were left looking bewildered and lost as their pitiful turnout totally backfired on them as even the locals who they thought would come out and join them made their way straight past laughing and hurling abuse as they made their way to the venue to enjoy a speech by Mr Griffin.
The shame these dullards must have felt is unimaginable. Nationalism is strong in Barnsley and the people of Barnsley have made it quite clear that ANTIFASH is NOT welcome in South Yorkshire.

Well it wasn't really a big surprise was it?
What these clowns don't realise is what people are thinking outside of the lefty protests. Its all very well turning up to a protest and agreeing with each other. But, most people who live around me are pretty much against the current immigration policies - its too lax. The views of the 60million should outweight the views of a few thousand protestors. Otherwise, whats the whole point of democracy? Anything else is saying democracy is bad and we should be living in a dictatorship.
