But Condelezza Rice is black, show some respect for black people!

Black Briton
Is it because I am black ?
31.03.2006 15:57
I remember nasty protestors who complained when P.W. Botha visited Thacher in 1984, they were just complaining about one issue.
And you know, for all the obvious evil of apartheid, it isn't as big a crime as genocide. Even black's can be monsters and Rice is more like Botha than Mandela.

To not protest against her on the grounds that she is black would be racist in itself.
Harrison Daily
how patronizing!

Are you seriously suggesting that a warmonger like condoleeza rice should be left alone because of the colour of her skin? What about Mugabe? It is patronizing to all black people to suggest that we give this 'woman' preferential treatment because of the colour of her skin, or turn the other cheek because she is black. There are and have been many black people who are worthy of admiration in recent history, Martin Luther King Jr, Mumia Abu Jamal and Rosa Parks to name but a few. The best way to end race discrimination is to judge people by the merit of their actions, not the colour of their skin, and to do otherwise only encourages a divide between people of different ethnicities.
I also find your comment that we should be grateful for her visit deluded and naive. Her visit has nothing to do with her feelings for us, but is simply a propaganda stunt and an attempt to strengthen the diplomatic ties that have already caused so much death and tragedy in Iraq/Afghanistan.
we need to build a society where people are accepted and loved because they are nice, sharing people. Black people are just as capable of this as whites, in the same way that some black people also have the capacity to be as eveil as some whites. In short, we are all human, amnd until more people begin to realise that, we will continue to allow the ruling classes and hate mongering racists to divide us by the colour of our skin.

I agree, few blacks have managed to be so evil -
We should think of Condi as a role model for all women people of color who aspire to evil but have been blocked by the white male domination of that realm

Black Briton sounds fake to me

Whether they are black or not, they are certainly fucking stupid.

CONDI A ROLE MODEL? NOT IN THE U.S., THANK GOODNESS!!

In fact, she is an *embarrassment* to 99.9% of black people in the U.S. (except to the 0.1% of black conservatives) -- and to most blacks in Britain -- and in Brixton -- too.
I would explicitly tell you what she is sometimes called in the Africa American community, but I don't know if UK Indymedia would let it get posted (but it starts out with "Condoleeza the [slang that rhymes with leeeza]).
I am African American and, indeed, I came to the UK Indymedia website to look for and check out the wonderful photos of the protests against Condi.
So, as far as protesting Condi: TALLYHO!!
