Andrew Smith not available for comment

Paul | 04.09.2003 00:38 | Oxford

Our friend and representative Mr Andrew Smith MP was unfortunately not available for comment concerning the letter in the Oxford Mail on Monday requesting a public debate on the war.

Mr Andrew Smith as a cabinet member could have made a stand against the war on Iraq and helped prevent it but prefered to suport it and look after his job. He is thus complicit in and illegal and immoral war and should be condemned for it.

The request for a public meeting by people from 15 organisations was genuine but he will not agree but avoid saying yes or no. He knows he can not defend his position and is lacking in some of the basic facts such as what Resolution 678 was about.

I suggest everyone writes to him and the local press concerning this public debate which he is so keen to avoid.

Don't let him off the hook. He has blood on his hands

Paul

Support for war?

Do you realise that you are asking the wrong questions for which there are answers being compiled at tremendous speed?

The party circulars should go out soon advising on how ot handle answers to such questions.
The Hutton inquiry, resignation of an alleged key player, Gordon Brown's portrayal as 'man against spin' etc. and your MP being part of the core team led by Gordon Brown standing by to take power (of course the decision has to be from above as IDS and team are sort of ready too this time around).

Infact if you look carefully at the matter it is evident that even the BP interests in the treasury have distanced themselves in time for the staged 'fall of Blair'.

The direct 'revolving door' from the likes of BP are straight to No 10 and the 'teams' are currently under final tests and scutiny.
So surrely you cannot expect an answer at this stage.
If you ask the wrong question after the war has been declared over (remember it is all foreign arabs fault now) I assure you there will be an answer very soon.

What you should ask is 'why did you support the dictates of multinational mass murderors like Exxon-Mobil and BP when your actions directly killed and continues to kill millions of innocent brothers and sisters, you pigscum?'
