Passive statement on USA Iraq war & getting fast results in re-construction

Finnish Iraq Embassy official has given very negative statement on Iraq situation. Even so, there may be a possibility to make fast progress in re-construction.

PASSIVE STATEMENT ON USA IRAQ WAR & GETTING FAST RESULTS IN RE-CONSTRUCTION

Ten o'clock news on the 13rd of April 2004 showed an interview of Finland Iraq Ambassador Marita Ertonmaa. This is what she stated and spoke in the news: “That there are two other married Finnish woman staying here. And when it comes down to traveling outside (from one location to an other), it has become totally impossible – I may say. It was expected some kind of a wonderful change here just after the war. What have we got? No good thing so far. A war as such is a terrible experience, but everything having happened after the war has been even worse. This evil I have not before seen. That the whole nation suffers.”.

Marita Ertonmaa gave her opinion with her upper Finnish as usual in a very stylished way. The only thing I made a remark was the negative tone of the whole war. I do not like Finns criticizing something they did not took part in the first place. Secondly I think this stage in this war was expected to happen.

Possibly the best thing to do, is to make a deal on cease-fire with a nitrogen-bomb or neutron-bomb guarentees. This is the best and fastest way to re-construct the Iraq. And fast the problem is dealt with, the Iraq can pay the war costs for free democratic nation and start living on their own. And in case you need someone to hold the button, then I'll be more than happy to do that for both of you as a tolerant civilian.

The current situation is getting out of hand, because everyone wants to get their share of the cake. Even those, who never has done anything about it.

Marita Ertonmaa kuvaa tunnelmia näin: “Että täällä on kaksi muuta Suomalaista naimisissa olevaa naishenkilöä.Ja mitä tulee ulkonaliikkumiseen, se on täysin mahdotonta - voin sanoa. Odotettiin jotain aivan ihanaa muutosta heti sodan loppumisen jälkeen. Mitä me olemme saaneet? Ei mitään hyvää tähän mennessä. Sota sinänsä on jo kauhea kokemus, mutta se kaikki mitä on tapahtunut sodan jälkeen on vielä pahempaa. Näin pahaa en ole vielä nähnyt. Että koko kansa kärsii.”
