RAG Conference in Said Business School!

The National RAG (Raise and Give, the student charity organisation) Conference is to
be held in Oxford in January - at the Said Business School, which was built with a
£20 million donation from Wafiq Said, infamous arms dealer and facilitator for the
Saudi/UK Al-Yamamah arms deal.

The construction of the Said Business School saw numerous protests, including a six
month squat and multi-day eviction...and including numerous protests from Oxford
University Student Union. Only a few years later, however, RAG now seems happy to meet
in the Business School 'built with blood money'.
