Lucia Pizzaro, Internationals coordinator of the 'Israeli Committee
Against House Demolitions' will be speaking at Bristol University's
Student Union building about ICAHD's work and how people in the UK can get involved.

Briefly ICAHD occupy houses slated for demolition by the Israeli Army,
and moilze Israeli, International and Palestinian volunteers to help
re-build the thousands of houses which cannot be saved. See
 http://www.icahd.org and  http://www.icahduk.org/
for more details or contact Bristol ISM (info at bristol-ism.org.uk)

As a collection of individuals, ICHAD are particularly notable for their
detailed understanding of the physical mechanisms by which Palestinians
are controlled by the Israeli state. See for example Jeff Halper's
famous 'Matrix of Control
'.

Who "nominated" these clowns?

23.10.2006 16:50

In some years as many as 199 nominations have been received. The Committee keeps the nominations secret and asks that nominators do the same. Over time many individuals have become known as "Nobel Peace Prize Nominees", but this designation has no official standing [2]. Nominations from 1901 to 1951, however, have been released in a database. When the past nominations were released it was discovered that Adolf Hitler was nominated in 1939, though the nomination was retracted in February of the same year. Other infamous nominees included Joseph Stalin and Benito Mussolini.
Or maybe they were nominated for the even more meaningless "alternative" Nobel peace prize.

Big deal
