Beltane Festival is cancelled for this year, it won't take place on Calton Hill in Edinburgh.
This famous alternative festival attracted many visitors and was well-known all over Britain and beyond. (article 1)

These are pictures of the alternative, pagan art festival, having taken place for 15 years now on Calton Hill.
With almost 14 000 visitors each year, the costs are spiralling and the self-funded festival sees itself not being able to go ahead this year with its performance.
