In support for the call for action at the start of the aggression in Iraq, Aberdeen's public took to the streets in the town center. The protestors staged a die-in and walk-on on Union Street and brought the evening traffic to a stand still. One bus driver impatient with the hold up tried to drive through the protestors which only server to bring more people out onto the street. Police appeared to carry away several of the die-in protestors. The protest peacefully moved off the streets once police reinforcements arrived.
