People made new friends and got to see old ones which is really what is all about.

There was also a zine station where you could contribute to the Frock on zine run by local comic star Heather Middleton and a poi station or make your own poi.
The traditional free Green City lunch was a delcious chili, pita bread and salad.
At lunchtime McWatt from Leeds played (standup base and accordion/flute) which brought a tear to a few eyes with their beautiful melancholy harmonies and also a local young guitarist Maria Leahy. Our clothes swap was so successful that we aim to have another one next spring.

At night we had electronica type bands which is a change from our usual punky bands. The Electroluvs (http://www.geocities.com/xstaticrecords/electroluvs) Glasgows newest rising stars played their catchy geeky songs. Then the Kitchen from Discount and Bis fame spazzed out in the best way possible (ilovethekitchen.com) Also the lovely We Start Fires(westartfires.co.uk) from England frocked out. Everyone there was taken by surprise at their ultra danceable set and the crowd went wild! They had such a good time they really want to come back up for another show as it was the best show they had ever played. And then we had the after party to god knows when. All in all it was a successful, smooth and fun event. Look out for our next event Saturday December 6 at Shakespeare Street.
