World Bank speaker in Edinburgh 2nd of October

Tomorrow evening (Thursday October 2nd) a presentation will be given by Mark
Eckstein of the World Bank on "How the international financial community can
promote sustainable development". The event has been organised by 'Agenda'
- a corporate social responsibiliy organisation based in Edinburgh.

Mark heads up the Corporate Citizenship unit of the International Financial
Corporation, which is part of the World Bank. He is a leading thinker on
how global finance and business activity can be made more sustainable and
socially responsible.

The event, which includes a discussion afterwards, will be held at Burness
and Co., 50 Lothian Road. It will begin at 5pm with talks continuing until
7pm.
