Walk for the orphans of Iraq

Susan Karim fled Saddam's Iraq and now she lives in Britain. She will be walking from Dundee to Edinburgh to raise money Iraqi orphans.
Starting at the Tay Bridge, Saturday 18th October.
Finishing at the Scottish Parliament, Edinburgh, Wednesday 29th October.

Susan Karim has taken on the challenge of raising £100,000 to help the orphans of Iraq. Susan will complete a sponsored walk from Dundee to Edinburgh this month. Originally from Iraq Susan now lives in Kirkcaldy and is raising money to support the work of the charity Muslim Hands that has delivered much needed aid to thousands of Iraqi families. They want to open and run an orphanage in Baghdad but the building at present stands empty. The official ‘send off’ for the sponsored walk will take place in Dundee at 12 noon on Saturday 18 October and the walk will endat the Scottish Parliament buildings on the afternoon of Wednesday 29 October.
