First Aid for Protests Workshop

Friday, July 1
9 hours of intensive practice (with plenty of breaks for tea and lunch) taught by experienced instructors.

Learn:
How to be safe at an action
How to prepare yourself and your friends
How to treat commonly seen injuries and illnesses
How to decontaminate from crowd-control chemical weapons
How to take care of yourself and your friends after you return home

Please bring:
-practical clothes and shoes that you would actually wear to a demo
-an unopened water bottle with squirt top
-your friends

WHEN: From 9:45 AM to 6 PM. Time will be set aside for breaks and lunch.

WHERE: Teviot Bldg., East Student Union, Bristo Square, Edinburgh
Meet in the Balcony Room.

Taught by members of Star of Resistance Medics, Medical Activists of New York, & The Black Cross Health Collective.
